Building Community in Moab

The Moab Arts and Recreation Center (MARC) offers arts, education, culture, and recreation programs and events for community children and adults. Put simply, we build creative community, and we've been doing it since 1997.

The MARC is an arts center, a meeting facility, and a venue for events. We host art classes for adults in the winter and art classes for kids in the summer. We maintain a small pottery studio. We organize the Red Rock Art Festival each October, the Holiday Craft Fair each December, and a host of other fun event such as Moab Art Walk and Community Yoga each Monday at 6pm. Basically, we do everything we can to enrich our rural town with creative opportunities.

In the evenings the busy facility is filled with children dance classes, adult swing dancers, adult ballet, meditation workshops, yoga and many others. The MARC is also the host of many amazing events, such as: The Moab Folk Camp, Moab Jam, Moab Photo Symposium and more!
